Business
Development Opportunities:
The Chamber continues to offer effective business
development opportunities. There were over 1.2 million
hits to our website in 2007. Over one million dollars in
new sales were generated from our Leads Groups referrals.
The Piedmont Triad Business Showcase saw a 50% increase
in attendance. |
Small
Business
The Chamber's Small Business department launched
an innovative financial literacy program called the Money
Sense Credit Camp, helping to create 50 bank-ready small
business customers. 45 Educational programs were presented
through the Chamber Business Academy. |
Leadership
Development:
Again in 2007, the Leadership Development department
provided premier programming via four specially designed
programs - Leadership Greensboro, Other Voices, Experience
Greensboro and Leadership Greensboro Seniors. These programs
yielded 48 new leaders, 30 youth leaders, 24 individuals
engaged in cross-cultural exchange and 14 Senior leaders.
These groups also developed The Guilford County Teacher
Supply Warehouse and the Camp Flat World concepts. |
